Agro Again

Just for a change, I am my usual psychotic bitchy self today.  At work, I find out mum is attending a seminar interstate (as well as having a little holiday with the grandbaby) so i'll be running the show..which is no big deal when i'm not being a coward and actually own up to my responsibility of doing the massages while she's away... but it means i have to change copious amounts of appointments.

So in my foul 'i hate that beep beep ex-bastard of mine' mood which seems to have delightedly resurfaced for some unfathomable reason, i have to call lots of people to tell the great news of their now impending need to reschedule.

I have no trouble with 3/4 of the clients but one lady took 5 minutes to decide that she wanted the exact date and time i suggested to her initially, i even had to repeat it 3 blooming times before her fogged head clicked on.  seriously, 3 times! i had to say the date, the day and month, the date and day, the day and the date and month plus the time over and over.  parrot receptionist i must be..sqwak

and the other lady who i always dread ringing always has a couple of followup questions to ask my mum so i have to listen to her ramble it out and my head is tuning out even though i valiantly try to refocus it back on what she's saying, but all i hear is 'blah blah blah your mum blah blah blah kidneys!" and i'm like "ok, wasn't there so i don't know what this is about and no, i don't know what you're referring to but i'll pass the msg on'.  DESPITE the fact i have told her numerous times that it would be better to text or email my mother questions as she will get a faster response.  my mum doesn't have time to let sit down, let alone scratch her arse at work.  why this lady thinks that i have magical powers to pull mum out of her consultations on time is beyond me.  if a client is 15mins late, we're screwed for time for the rest of the day unless someone fails to show.

and then there's mum's famous '30min i care extra' that she adds to some sessions without intending to that throw us out too.  grrrr!  diary-bitch alert.

thank you for the venting space.  much appreciated.

I think it's that time of year, Trep... ^^; But if you need a weird, irreverent song to dig you out, I recommend DJ Bobo - Chihuahua. It is the strangest song I've ever heard and even gets my sorry ass out of a funk, at least for a few minutes. :) And believe me, I can get into a funk and be very happy in it for a LONG time... ^^;

When your mom returns, I would also recommend a bit of a break for yourself, just a couple days  where you can kick back and make your Self happy by doing whatever you want to do. I plan on that myself, soon as I can afford to.

Sure, tell the girl to visit in the middle of a cold snap! Minus eighteen is bloody delightful weather.

I hope things pick up for you soon Intrepid.  Shall I go find some Golden Nipples?

Lol...thanks gang.

I think it's just overload emotionally and it makes me look more pathetic than usual.

I'll settle for the hugs...they don't make me fat.  Sorry, chocolate and alcohol are gonna have to wait till i get my new body in order.

Emotional overload is always bad, but don't be afraid to talk to us about it. Sometimes it needs to be heard and discussed with others who, even if unknown, can offer you a stronger shoulder, a steadier ear, and occasionally a loving brainduster to help get you back on track. :) Helps me out loads, and gods know I do my fair share of complaining! XD

Wanker Alert....does anyone else have a fanfiction.net account that has a guest reviewer hitting their fanfictions with nonsense reviews composed of letters repeated over and over?  i received 16 in 48 hours.  i'd like to get hold of the person causing it and ram what i have of my lastest bmfm fanfic up his or her a*** and ask them to review that!

Sure it's not a spambot? Are reviews counted anywhere in ff.net profiles these days, and if so do they show as a number or latest review thing? Could be someone failing at trying to up their rep :)

If it's an anonymous comment I'm going to wildly educated guess and say spambot with the links being stripped out before it gets processed so you get the nonsensical comments without them getting the linkback :)
