Daemun seemed to wait and see what decision Pheonix would make after the voices had their say and when she looked at him all he did was nod and wait for a moment further. She was right in that someone had to make an offering of blood and Daemun indeed would be the right choice. It wasn't long before Daemun stepped up, calm as ever, and walked up to the dagger, taking its handle and studying the fine piece of equiptment.

"I could never imagine such an object resided in my own mind" Daemun began as he studied the blade, bringing up his left hand and pressing the blade's sharp edge on it and wrapping his hand slowly over the blade, sliding it out from his grip without even a flinch and then placing the blade back where it belonged. The structure then 'absorbed' the blade back into that tar-like matter and just as it had made its entry it made its exit only in reverse.

"I guess this is what is needed..." Daemun smirked slightly as he held his closed hand over the onyx carvings and opening his palm he let the blood flow. It dripped down from the open slice, clean and well made, and dripped from the side of his palm to the carvings below. You could almost watch as the droplets fell and splashed upon the surface, seconds later giving the carvings a faint red glow as in front of them the brick work of the wall began to part away, floating off into a distant space and revealing an entirely new world.

Chunks of land floated above a twirling vortex, each land seeming to hold a different memory at its center that flowed within a small sphere elevated above an alter beneath a stone made gazebo of sorts. There were quite a few of them. But only one of them were what they were looking for.

The wound on Daemun's palm healed shut as he raised his open palm with a gesture toward the new opening. "In there is where they're all are. Which of them is the one we're looking for is what we have to find out. Could be any of them or something entirely different in there. I don't know. I locked that part of my memories away a long time ago..."

Meanwhile...

"You obviously are not quite aware of what my background is then" Rav'una replied with a smirk, walking up to Geiser once he was done with a little laugh and a shake of her head before resting her hand on his chest with a smile. "What is important to me is what is here" She explained, looking up at Geiser and resting her hand gently on his chin as she added "The rest is just a bonus."

Phoenix looked between Daemun and the blade as Daemun admired it. "It suits you," she said. She watched with interest as he cut his hand open and did the blood letting thing. She again reflexively turned her head slightly as the bricks careened away from the new portal, before noting the trajectory should not, even with the virtually non-existant physics of the DreamScape, send any of them in her direction. She regarded the newly opened dimension with interest, studying in particular the vortex, wondering if it had any pulling power and trying to work out if it was dangerous and if so, how much so. She also looked at the orbiting islands, searching for a pattern.

"Looks like your entire tower is a black box," Phoenix observed, watching the maelstrom. Hardly surprising. She looked up at Daemun again. "Go in and look. If you want me to follow, I'll be right behind you. Otherwise I can stay up here til you're done, or pull you out if you need it."

-=o=-

"I don't have a clue," Geiser admitted. "Might make a good bedtime story, eh?" He could have slapped himself. Feeling a need to explain to her that he wasn't after a hot night, hell he didn't feel anywhere close to thinking about being ready to get naked with someone else yet, and besides which, it seemed remarkably disrespectful, he said, "It's not like that. I just...I like the thought of you being the las thing I see and hear before I fall asleep." He took her hand in his, stroking the back of it gently. "I just went up in the lameness epartment didn't I." He miled sheepishly.

Daemun took Phoenix's compliment and gratefully accepted it with a nod, silently acknowledging his thanks before proceeding to do what he had to do next. What was later revealed certainly was both something to be admired and feared. Who really knew what dangers lay ahead? Daemun had kept out of this side of his mind for a long time now but still he was quite aware of the risks. The vortex didn't look particularly welcoming so one would best stay well clear from it. Fortunately there were stone paths, broken up as they may be, leading in between the chunks of land but some of the chunks of land were far beyond reach. Perhaps there were hidden paths?

"Figures..." Daemun scoffed at a fact that wasn't all too surprising for him either, looking at what lay ahead of him before turning his attention back to Phoenix with a frown and a point in the direction of all the new area. "And what exactly am I looking for in there? I thought we were looking for a 'black box' but if this whole place is one then what are we looking for now?"

Meanwhile...

In truth, thought teasing as she was being, Rav'una was not the type to rush in like a dog on heat and hump the first thing she fell in love with. Though she had to admit for a mouse Geiser certainly was attractive and she would have no hessitations in saying yes if he asked. But she had more respect than that and right now was not the time. Rav'una figured building a relationship, a true and solid one, first would be a good place to start.

Rav'una laughed lightly at the first response she had recieved before then listening to what else Geiser had to say. Something told her that he had been through something quite harsh in his past and that it was leading to his shy behaviour. Unless he was just love struck. Or both. In any case Rav'una knew how to show her support and did so surprisingly well for a hardened assassin warrioress type. With Geiser hold her hand as he did Rav'una gently tightened her hold on his hand, giving it a few light squeezes before placing her other hand on the side of his chin, bringing his gaze to meet her own and though serious she remained calm and her tone soothing as she replied with a shake of her head.

"Such honors are rare my love. One should learn quickly to cherish them and grasp them while one can. For if not then it slips away. But even then we must cherish the good in such times and use the bad to help strengthen us and make us brave. You are not being lame" Rav'una chuckled a little, adding then with a smile "You are being honest. That tells me a lot about your character and who you are."

Phoenix's crest flicked. "You obviously have a lot of things you don't want to think about." She gamely poked her head right through the portal they were standing at and had a good look around the maelstrom area, then pulled out and looked at Daemun again, once more skimming the surface of his mind. "Considering your location, maybe you should start with why you feel so antagonistic towards Commander Strike and Captain Flak." She looked down again. "And maybe deal with the rest of them when you feel ready to." She looked into the maelstrom. If she'd been anyone else, the sheer nothingness of the centre of the vortex would have done her head in. As it was, it wasn't the first time she'd stared into complete and utter nothing.

She froze as she felt the familiarity of Something Big brushing her mind. Just before the familiar vertigo set in she dropped to a crouch, hand an foot claws digging into the ground and looking down between her hands. The feeling passed eventually, but it still took her a moment to translate raw strength into something she could understand.

"Okay," she responded, not really sure if she'd spoken aloud or not.

-=o=-

"I need to have get cleaned up," Geiser said. "Please, make yourself at home. We can head to bed after, and you can tell me about yourself. And where you're from. If you want." He smiled, and disappeared into the bathroom quickly.

"Apparently..." Daemun replied with a role of his eyes, looking over at all those platforms of lands ahead of him and he stared out there for a good long while, even after Phoenix was done responding to his inquiries. She had obviously hit a sore spot and in a way Daemun wished she hadn't. But then a spark from one of the gazebo type structures, like a small ripple of energy, waved out from it and Daemun knew that was the first place to go. Getting there, however, would be a task in itself.

Lowering his gaze with a slow set of nods Daemun then exhaled deeply as he knew Phoenix meant well. "You're right..." He finally replied, pausing to bring his gaze back up to what was ahead and then turning to Phoenix as he continued "I'm going in. If I fall make sure I don't go into that vortex. If you fall in you'll probably just wake up again. I just know if I fall in I might not and if I do I'll probably not be the same...if at all concious or existant in the real world. I don't know how I know that but I just do."

Daemun had just began to turn to head in when Phoenix had dropped down, her reaction to something he wasn't quite aware of catching his attention and he perked a brow as he turned to her to check on her.

"You okay?" He asked, firmly but kind enough to show a sign of care.

Meanwhile...

"Well do hurry, I need to tend to a few things before we do go to bed" Rav'una laughed, giving Geiser a quick slap on the behind with a smirk in a playful tease before then with a nod and a smile she replied "Alright my love, sounds like a plan. Perhaps I could get to know more about you in return?"

She winked at Geiser before sitting herself down on a near by chair, one leg over the other and resting back in a very calm and collected manner. She certainly was pleased with herself for having caught herself such a fine catch indeed. He seemed to match her personality or at least was able to tolerate it. That's always a good start.

"Fine." Phoenix checked her balance before she stood back up, wings out slightly to help with the balance and then furling them back up when she'd found it. She paid attention as Daemun explained his theories about the void, and nodded absently as it made sense with what she'd had dumped into her head not long ago. "You'll be fine hitting it or going through it after this is cleared." She gestured towards the floating islands. "til then, best stay away." she looked him up and down. "You won't fall. You can fly."

-=o=-

Geiser turned the shower on and stood under it, calming his breathing. Crazy, crazy, crazy. He grabbed some soap and scrubbed the lather through his wet fur, scrubbing off the grease that had accumulated in his fur while he'd been working. The new skin on his hands stung a bit. He was really impressed with the strength of the whatever it was Rav'una had applied. He wondered if she would be open to the idea of letting Murdoc have a look at it, and seeing if they had any plants that they could extract something of even anything close to that potency from.

He didn't take too long, not with water being the precious commodity that it was, and got out, towelling dry. He had forgotten to bring clothes in with him. it wasn't often he had company. He wrapped his towel around his waist and headed out, his fur puffed up slightly from being freshly towelled, and still very slightly damp.

Geiser almost froze when he saw Rav'una sitting waiting, but quickly collected himself and walked into his room to forage for at least some boxers or something he could wear to sleep.

"You said something about needing to do some stuff before going to bed?" he called inquiringly, afraid to look behind him in case she'd decided to follow him into the room. He was still trying to work out how he felt about her seeing him naked, on the one hand he didn't mind, on the other hand wondering what she thought terrified him.

(OOC: Ack! Sorry about the delay! I didn't realize it was so long since I replied last o..O...)

Daemun simply nodded to Phoenix and stopped to listen further to what was said, glancing over to the vortex and then guiding his gaze up to the floating islands and immediately back to Phoenix with a slight perk of his brow when she mentioned he could fly.

"Fly?..." Daemun inquired and not quite believing this was at all possible for him even in this realm or state or...whatever you wish to call it. With a shake of his head Daemun just let that go and proceeded forward, stepping out onto the first part of land. With a deep breath he proceeded to the first island.

He reached the edge of the land he was on but the lack of a path made him wonder how he could make it accross. Phoenix said he could fly but there had to be another way. After all Daemun didn't know to fly, or at least so he figured, so for now he took a moment to study the emptyness ahead of him.

A flash of a stone tile path rushed through his head at this stage, Daemun stumbling back a step with a grunt and a quick shake of his head before looking back at that void once more. "So that's how it's done..." Daemun said to himself and walked right up to the edge, daringly close to it, and lifted his right foot up and just a little over the edge. The moment he did this and his foot went a little over the edge a set of stone tiles 'flipped' into existance, forming just a section of the path. When Daemun stepped onto it more of the path revealed itself in the same way but behind him the tiles 'flipped' back over and vanished out of site again.

"Typical..." Daemun huffed with a curl of his lip as he looked back at the tiles that went back into hiding.

Meanwhile...

Rav'una perhaps would not have been against sharing what she had used to help Geiser but Murdoc may find it pretty hard pressed to find anything nearly as effective. After all the stuff Rav'una used was of a rare extract from her home planet and while she could get more she would have to go back to her home world and then through the task of finding it, and if not the substance from some supplier or someone then the plant or whatever it was extracted from itself. The impressive thing about the stuff was that not only was it obviously effective and quite fast and obviously useful for a quick heal but you only ever needed a very small amount of it, which was easily spready over large areas of injury, in order to use it at any one time. So who knows how long Rav'una had this for. She would have used some on herself way back when she crashed it wasn't for the fact that her injuries were more than just a few cuts and bruises. The stuff didn't help broken bones and some injuries require more than what even such an effective extract could offer. Such as stitches and bandages. And medics. Oh yes and we can't forget consciousness.

Fortunately for Geiser, but unfortunately for Rav'una, she had completely missed him going into his room as she had distracted herself with a book that happened to catch her attention so when she heard his voice her ears perked up as she sat up straight a moment, looking over to the room where his voice was coming from with a "Oh! I had not realized you were done" followed by a little laugh as she placed the book down on the table she found it at and stood with a stretch, easing then as she began to walk over to the shower.

"Yes, just a quick showed to get well and truly clean and the usual higene routine. I shouldn't be too long my love"

With that Rav'una entered the shower, not at all shy about what she felt was completely natural and with her armor-like attire, though she didn't wear much in general (if you remember her picture...as destroyed by my scanner as it was >_

(ooc - no wuckers, let's just blame silly season shall we ;)

Phoenix's inner eyelids blinked at the invisible stone path that shimmered in and out of existance as Daemun walked over them. She let him go on his own, trusting in her own speed and ability to pull him out if anything untoward happened, but she didn't think it would. As his back retreated she studied the barely visible skeletal wing frames barely visible on his back. All demons had wings. It was part of their anatomy. Whether they could actually fly or not was another thing altogether, and his definitely looked big enough.

Maybe he just wasn't quite ready to use them yet. Ahh well, in time maybe, as he and his demon bonded a bit more.

-=o=-

Geiser heard the door to the bathroom click shut and after glancing around to make sure she'd gone in, he dropped the towel and found a clean pair of boxers to pull on. Feeling a little more comfortable, but still a bit strange about having a woman in his room after so long, he sprawled out on the bed, staring up at the ceiling, waiting for Rav'una to finish her shower and whatever else it was she was doing.

(OOC: I'm cool with that if you are =D! XD! No wuckers...I haven't heard that in yonks. ;P)

Daemun was a bit of an odd demon. At least in the world of mortals as his wings were non-existant. Not that he really needed them over all but they sure would have come in handy in his fall that Phoenix managed to save him from. However in this world apparently he had them though he couldn't tell as of yet. Perhaps because they weren't visible enough to him yet or he just was too concentrated on letting himself fall and alter from the path he carefully tread. Though he did feel something different about himself, particularly his back. Then again with that all noted it was safe to say that surprises do happen. Perhaps his wings in the real world were not your typical standard wings. Or was it that he was of a rare kind of wingless demon? In time the answer to this would be reveal but for now Daemun chose his steps carefully yet quickly as there was no time to loose.

Finally reaching with a leaping distance away from his destination, a medium sized block of land with one of those gazeebo-like structures at its center, the path cut off completely for about the tenth time since Daemun stepped foot on it.

"A bloody hell!" He hissed, obviously tiring of the complications of his own twisted world. Daemun would have to make a leap for it. It didn't seem like anymore of that path was revealing itself.

Stepping back carefully now, tiles flipping in and out of existance as he did so and doing likewise as he then took a running leap toward the land. At first it didn't look like he was going to make it but he reached out as far as he could, clawing into whatever part of the land managed to grab ahold of and held on tight.

"That...was too close for comfort..." Daemun grunted behind gripped teeth as he pulled his way gradually up to the hardened surface that is the land. He remained stooped there a moment, taking a deep breath in and standing upright as he saw the sphere ahead.

"This must be the start of it all..." He noted to himself out loud and made his way toward the sphere.

Meanwhile...

Rav'una's shower was quick and it didn't take her long to get nice and dry. So, one thing she didn't mention to Geiser apart from her obvious comfort with nudity and seeing it as something natural...apparently there is a tradition her people had and that tradition involved, you guessed it, nudity. No it wasn't the act of mating. It was a gesture of ultimate trust and a means to welcome the freedom of love into a couple's life. And so, her fur well groomed and decorated in what looked like a traditional sci-fi version of some kind of Egyptian/Native American combo attire, quite revealing to be exact, she walked in and tried to hide the fact she was actually nervous about this. It was her first time showing this gesture and she didn't know how Geiser would react exactly.

"Please do not think wrongly of this" Rav'una smiled with her hand on her chest and a small bow of her head as she explained "It is a tradition amongst my people to dress this way on the first night a lover sleeps with them. Often it only involves the female doing so however depending on the situation the male may also be involved. It is a gesture. A sign of trust and the attire is a symbol of the richness of one's loving bond."

"I hope it does not bother you my love..." Rav'una smiled. God she felt like a giddy teenager...

Leaning casually against the side of the portal, Phoenix watched curiously as Daemun's foot hovered in a void. Apparently his little MindScape had run out of invisible bricks. She could tell he was annoyed from his posture, and guessed he was probably swearing from the slight but violent movement of his head.

She perked up slightly when he backed up and started running. Watching those tiles flash in and out of existance as his feet briefly made contact with them during the short sprint was slightly freaky, although Phoenix found it somewhat fascinating. She hoped he remembered where the end of the path was even while she figured that he would. It didn't stop her automatically standing and tensing into takeoff position when he leaped, clawing through the air and colliding with the side of the island he was aiming for.

She sighed with relief and furled her wings back against her back, relaxing from takeoff position into a comfortable crouch as she continued observing Daemun, struggling up onto the island, leaving gouges in the side of the island as he climbed. Completely unsurprisingly he didn't look any worse for wear when he got to the top, hell he barely paused for breath as he then sauntered towards the gazebo like structure at its centre. From where she was, she couldn't really see what was in it, just a swirling mass of energy.

-=o=-

Geiser had been reclined in bed on his back, head resting on one hand, before he heard the shower go off. He had then sat up slightly to watch Rav'una enter, and when she finally did he didn't realise he had bolted completely upright.

Don't stare!

He wouldn't have been able to stop staring if she'd been threatening to stab his eyes out with a red hot poker, rather than standing there letting him look as he would. He was all too aware of the blood draining from his head and quickly pulled a pillow onto his lap, hugging it to his body.

At least say something, his internal voice chided drily.

Yes, say something. Geiser opened his mouth but choked on the words. Deja vu, this was almost exactly the same reaction he'd had the first time he saw Lyric naked, after she'd gone and done a strip tease for him.

Gods you're useless.

He did the best he could manage then and shuffled over to give her some space on the bed, soundlessly motioning for her to come join him.

There was a reason Daemun took his time with things such as this. He had calculate where the edge of the path was and counted his steps back before dashing into a daring leap accross the void to what he hoped would be solid land. Even the brave and couragous Daemun's blood ran cold as he almost missed his target but fortunately fate was on his side. How long his luck would last however was questionable but he hoped it would be for a while yet. Gods of Mars knowing he needed all the luck he could get.

Of course typically his relief washed away any immediate concerns and Daemun was back up on his feet and on solid ground in no time, walking toward the structure as though he had merely tripped on a stone and not had just leaped accross a swirling void of doom.

At the center of the gazeebo structure was square block of ancient stone, the grey colouring darkened from years of aging and above it a silver-black orb about the size of a basketball hovered above it. Daemun reached out toward it and the very moment he touched it the world began to change, tearing away like peeling paint blown away by a extended gust of wind and reforming through dust and ashes building the land and structures around them. When complete the world beneath revealed an earlier time. Within the Tir in fact.

Daemun was hardly recognizable as he held the sphere and withdrew it from the alter, the sphere absorbing into his palm. He was much younger, perhaps around his early teenage years or so. His fur was a darker cream sort of colour, his eyes a pleasant blue and he attire was that of his very first soldier's uniform. It had to be shortly after being accepted into the ranks as he was still fresh in the squad.

Those orbs perhaps were a power source from Daemun could tell. When it absorbed into his body he felt a strong energy being stored. Perhaps it was this gathering of energies that would help destroy the "black box" Phoenix refered to. But what needed to be done first? Perhaps these orbs first needed to be "cured" in order to be useful and not cause things to turn sour and worse?

Meanwhile...

(XD! Oh I can certainly sympathise with Geiser and his situation =P.)

Well despite Rav'una's confidence and pride and how well she held herself with a firm approach to life and such it still was not easy to be so revealing in front of Geiser. Not because she herself wasn't comfortable about being the way nature intended her to be but because Geiser obviously either felt uncomfortable or was currently struggling with his...emotions. Either way Rav'una was also quite true to her traditions and such were mostly of the old ways of her people. She couldn't help but to go ahead with it regardless of being on her home planet or not.

Maybe she should have given him some warning though it didn't cross her mind until now that he could have well possibly died of shock. Fortunately though he didn't.

Rav'una took a moment to let Geiser at least settle a little, looking away a slight as she did her best not to laugh at his reaction, which was actually quite cute to be honest, and looked at him with a loving smirk as she walked her way over to the bed, her stride particularly exotic with all the finely crafted attire. As little of it as there was.

Sliding herself beneath the blankets she huddled close to Geiser, planting a small kiss on the side of his cheek.

"I am sorry if I have made you uncomfortable my love..." She apologized with a blush behind her smile.

Phoenix, who could only really see things as they were, not necessarily how others saw them or how they wanted to be seen, cocked her head first one way, then the other, as she became aware of a change in Daemun. She leaned slightly in through the portal, one hand on the side for support, wings partially unfurled for balance, and scrutinised as only a raptor could.

She could see a sheen of oil slick over him. He'd taken on something from the black box, some emotion or memory that he needed to deal with? She glanced towards the void. It sat like a gaping maw, waiting. Sometime, at the end of however long it took him to eventually work his way through all of these memories (and there were a lot of them, and possibly not all related to the situation at hand, so who knew how long it would take or how far he would get now), he was going to acquisition a whole lot of power.

Whether he became an angry roaring primordial demon, full of sound and fury, terrifying in energy, but otherwise completely lacking control, or one of the definitively equally poweerful but much more terrifying demons who were in full control of themselves and knew exactly what they were doing and why, was entirely dependant on whether he consumed and controlled the oil slick, or whether it consumed and controlled him. The stuff was like mind poison, altering perception and twisting things violently out of proportion.

-=o=-

Geiser also twitched the blanket over him as Rav'una moved it and then shifted over onto his side to face her, moving the pillow back up to the head of the bed. He reached over and brushed some loose mane behind her ear. He had no idea what she'd done to her fur, or maybe it was that wonderful after scrubbing all the grit out of it. He brushed his thumb lightly over her cheek and then ran his hand through her hair, feeling the fine silk like hairs slipping luxuriously through his fingers.

He wanted...but he could't...he didn't feel ready. Not yet. His ears burned. He could hold her, if she'd let him, anything more would result in a brain aneurism if he overthought things. No, no further. He was too terrified.

Geiser reached out to take Rav'una into his arms but stopped just short of doing so, giving her the option to close the gap if she wished.

"You're so...beautiful..." he finally managed inadequately, his voice slightly hoarse with the effort of putting a coherent sentence together.

Daemun really didn't know what to expect but the first scenario was basically a lot of memories of which seemed muddled up at best. For starters it seemed things were not completely the way he remembered them to be. Just little things here and there that didn't seem to sit in place correctly such as certain faces he had seen before but knew he could not of known then, odd warps in the wall and the random grotesque scene that seemed so out of place it unnerved even the hardened Daemun. It was like a nightmare version of his memory and it seemed every sphere from that point on was the same.

As he quickly found out after managing to find what he was looking for in the first memory, which would remain a mystery (OOC: I didn't know what more to do and I'm trying to save confusion and what not, XD!), what he did discover was that at the end of every memory he would always find what looked like a broken piece of mirror. Or a part of a frame of one. Perhaps it was all a part of another puzzle? Something that would reveal a little more about what he is?

The world around him soon returned to normal, reversed in the way it had changed as it changed back to what it should be so to speak, as he stepped out of the first scene, his palm held up as the orb absorbed itself into his palm, a misty shadow-like aura coming and fading around his frame like a faintly seem flame before he slowly shut his palm and looked over to the next sphere.

This would be a challenging and long path indeed...

Meanwhile...

Rav'una lay close to Geiser, her eyes closing as his tender touch sent warm, comforting chills down her spine. He was such a macho mouse and a strong one at that. Rav'una felt protected with him around, despite being able to take very good care of herself as most certainly had been proven, but Geiser just gave her that sense of reassurance. Though as tough of a mouse as he is Geiser was so gentle with her. She felt at peace and like nothing she had ever felt before. Indeed it was love.

Perhaps she could-...No...she couldn't. Like Geiser she wanted to but it was just not the right time yet. Or was it? Oh it was all far too confusing and all was happening so fast at one time. Rav'una forced herself to stop and think a moment rather than let her passions flow wild and her instincts take too much control. She was not home anymore and this meant things were different here. The males back at home may well be ready to do what they will with their mates at just about anytime, anywhere, but here on Mars things were different. And for Geiser it seemed especially so.

At very least she could show she cared and wanted to be close. Rav'una could tell something was wrong but when she intended to ask she found herself lowering her gaze in second thoughts. It was not like her to be so hessitant. 'At least embrace him you fool!' She yelled at herself in her thoughts, failing to realize that maybe Geiser could have picked up on that. Then again she also wasn't aware of the whole purpose of the antennae were yet nor how it worked exactly.

When Geiser finally said something Rav'una snapped out of her little moment with a "Hm?" before suddenly realizing what he had said, her eyes wide a moment before she then grinned embaressedly as she felt quite foolish for having almost missed that. 'Quick! Fix what you have broken!' She once again yelled in her mind before moving closer to Geiser and wrapping one arm around him with a contentful purr.

"Thank you...You are so kind to me my love..."

Well this certainly proved to be an interesting night already. Rav'una could certainly hide the fact she almost screwed up though it was blantantly obviously she was new to this. Fortunately for Geiser she didn't notice the tone in his voice. Rav'una was far too concerned with getting this all right that she failed to realize what they both should be doing is just follow their hearts. Which she was doing also, don't get her wrong, but it was just new to her. Though it seemed it was more than that for Geiser.

There was a change in the void.

Phoenix immediately switched her attention back to it, keeping peripheral on Daemun.

"Why?" she asked bluntly, her voice low.

She was met with a thundering silence. Apparently the void, or whatever was in it, hadn't expected her to notice or communicate with it.

Geiser thought his heart was going to explode, he definitely felt it accelerate when she pressed up close to him. He rolled slightly more to keep one leg between her and his traitorous hard on and wrapped his arms around her. He barely realised he kissed her head and continued stroking her hair.

The contentment he felt was making him feel sleepy. She smelled different to another mouse, but sweet and exotic and intoxicating and female all the same. There were some things that apparently didn't change regardless of what species you were. He rested his chin on her head, as much to continue breathing the scent of her in and it was comfortable as much as preventing his antennae from touching her head.

"I'm sorry I'm tired, pretty," he murmured into her hair, feeling bad for feeling that contented that he just wanted to sleep. It had been a long day. He didn't think it was fair to her though, if she wanted more, but right now, he didn't have the emotional capacity to give her what he thought she wanted. "Tell me about you?"

Daemun had not heard the question thrown into the void but had sensed something of a change in the aura of this world. That thundering silence below made him uneasy to start with but typically Daemun did not show he was phased at all. Instead he turned to look straight at Phoenix from the distant chunk of land he now on, this one being about the fifth or sixth one he had landed on. So far he had been very successful, having also had a few close calls along the way, with filtering out the memories he had revisted thus far and it was actually starting to show. He had this constant faint aura about him like a black smokey mist flowing around his frame and off behind him like he was walking through unseen wall of it. His normal eye was now a much darker black color and that demon eye of his stood out particularly against his slighter darker fur tone.

His voice run straight to Phoenix, even though he could not have seen all that clearly from so far away...could he?

"What did it say?..." Daemun asked, obviously through thought. his voice a whisper and quite unsettling for those unprepared for it. Even if you were prepared it was still one of those voice you can't help but at least get chills by, be it through admiration or fear of it.

Perhaps these orbs he was collecting were also helping him...evolve?

Meanwhile...

One of the upsides to being female was that you could hide your...emotions a lot better than a male can. Males, as Geiser would know, had a certain obvious way to tell just how much one was...approved. Of course being nervous and all doesn't help the situation but once it's done, it's done and it does become a little difficult to 'switch off'. Not that it made it easier for Rav'una mind you. She could hear how fast and hard his heart was beating and surprisingly enough so was her own heart. Rav'una was probably a little more brave about it all but certainly not all that calm and on numurous points throughout the scene she mentally cursed at herself for being so 'weak' as she would put it. Nothing wrong with being in love but Rav'una was just never all the feminine. It was like teaching an Amazon to be romantic. In fact it was almost exactly like teaching an Amazon to be romantic. Only difference is she was pretty much teaching herself most the time but Geiser, despite being an emotional wreck, was actually helping. Maybe it was because he too was a wreck that it helped Rav'una ease in some ironic sort of way.

That kiss Geiser planted on her head made her shiver comfortable and Rav'una couldn't help but smile and let out a small "Mmm..." before the purring kicked in. Sometimes she hated purring. It showed she had a soft spot and kind of made her feel like more of a house cat that a warrioress but lucky for Geiser she didn't mind that he knew about that side of her. So long as he kept it their little secret ;P.

On one hand it was rather odd, and ironic, for such two species to be a couple but on the other stronger hand Rav'una cared only for the one thing that held a couple together. That feeling of just knowing they are right for another. That feeling of security that from now on everything will be okay. And it made her smile as she stayed close to Geiser, purring from his touch and as he rested his chin atop her head all she could do was purr and smile.

"Hm?" Rav'una, drifting back from a rather dreamy state and trying not to perk her ears up too high to save Geiser from loosing an eye or something, she continued with a light chuckle "No need to appologise my love. You are tired, I understand."

When asked to tell him more about herself Rav'una went suddenly quiet for a while. She opened her eyes and secretly lowered her gaze as she thought about wether to answer him now or when they wake up.

"Perhaps we should talk about that when we wake up..." She finally advised.

"Nothing," Phoenix replied, still watching the void, as if she expected something to happen. She wasn't sure what she thought would happen, really, although Ctuhulu tentacles flailing out would completely not have surprised her. "It's making things harder than they have to be." She did hear the change in Daemun's voice, and glanced at him curiously. Seeing the fragments of new energy coalescing around him, her first thought was that he needed to pull himself together. Then, recognising what he had when they'd embarked on this voyage and what was now floating around him, she realised that was probably exactly what he was doing now.

So why was the void being so difficult? Or was it just another one of his mental blocks?

Geiser turned his muzzle down to snuggle against Rav'una's head.

"Okay," he barely murmured. Exhaustion from the day dropped on his brain, slowly but insistantly shutting it down in preparation for sleep. He adjusted himself first slightly so that he wouldn't end up feeling sore or have any limbs have blood pressure cut, and fortunately he was in a mostly asleep state by this point as otherwise he would have been absolutely mortified over what he was doing, but without thinking, he reached an arm across Rav'una's hips and pulled her against him. His tail wrapped loosely around her leg and he snuggled down, feeling contented for the first time in a very long time.

(OOC: Thanks and likewise =D! Sorry about the delays. I just got back from a vacation that was originally going to be for a week but ended up being two weeks. That and yesterday I was not well at all. I'm feeling a lot better today despite the heat of the day having sucked away the majority of my energy.)

Daemun said nothing in response to Pheonix's reply though his expressions stated he obviously found it a little odd. Never the less he shrugged it off for the time being, focussing instead on the mission ahead. He was almost there. This "black box" Pheonix mentioned. It should not have been such a surprise that Daemun would require a large quantity of strength and a 'new form' so to speak in order to achieve this goal. Whatever this 'black box' of his was and/or was like chances are he would need it. Then again he didn't know what to expect or exactly why he needed any change at all but Pheonix seemed to be working it out quite well. Daemun, as mention, went with the flow and unable to resist the wonderful offering of emotions that came with the changes he could help not but embrace it all.

Why the void was being so difficult was as much of a mystery for Daemun as it was for Pheonix. Then again...maybe the answers were right in front of them.

Meanwhile...

At first Rav'una was surprised but immediately after felt a truly welcoming comfort as she too wrapped her tail around Geiser's leg, smiling as she closed her eyes and purred happily. She could not have been more comfortable if you gave her messaging quilts and medatation tunes. The warmth of Geiser's body against her own made her smile enough yet alone the ever so welcoming comfort. A perfect moment indeed.

(OOC: That's fine, a post is a post all the same =). )
