The town called Vein Valley still stood after the horrid attack it suffered. Sure the Freedom Fighters saved the day.. well... most of the civilians but the war left the town a place of ruins. Like most of the Martian cities, there was very little left.
The high walls that once held the mines that shaped the town were now caved in upon themselves and crumbled down on the wearhouses, houses and buisnesses, the local bar and strip joint gone along with the remains of a bike repair shop.
Smoke still billowed, bodies still buried and the tail lights of the Freedom Fighters faded leaving the mish-mash of Martian civilians left to pick up the peices.

"This place is a mess," Nega groaned as she looked out over the city. Leaning against the wall of the inn they were staying at for the day, she found herself wishing it was Rattlers. She'd love to head back to Tribe today, but she knew that it and Sleet was okay.
Tamara placed her water bottle down and ran her thin fingers through her white bangs and yawned. "Man this is tiring." She said to herself. It seemed that it was pointless even coming to this city. "What a pity." She whispered.
Wrench looked around spotting the dirt cloud that roared in and then stopped. Pulling out his binoculars he put them to his eyes and zoomed in on the mouse. "Wow..." He grinned leveling them at her chest. "Now... I like that."
Zooming the picture in he followed the mouses curves up and down. "Nega.. theres a new mouse in town. Very hot too."
Nega looked down at Wrench, hitting him upside the head.
"I'll give you a tip," she muttered, "don't make it so obvious your looking."
She took his binoculars and looked through them. A new mouse, a Freedom Fighter perhaps? She had to admit though, she was pretty attractive for a mouse.
Tamara leaned back on her bike and placed her left foot on the handle bar. She looked up into the sky as the sunlight bathed her in it. The sweat dripped down her fur. SHe began to think about her job more before moving and reajusting herself on her bike.
"Can we go say hello? Do you think she's friendly? Will she shoot us? Can I ask her to my room?" Wrench grinned at Nega. "Please? All of the above?" He shifted. "Can I shoot her canteen from here?"
Nega pondered about it. Why in the world would a new mouse be coming to a half-gone city?
"Probably nothing," she muttered to herslef. "Still..."
She sighed and shook her head. It was hardly her bussiness.
"And NO!" she snapped at him. "You... yeah sure, go ask her to your room, see how far you get."
Only one way for a boy to learn to respect women, and if it included getting slpped around well... he did deserve it.
Tamara let out a big sigh and then got up off her bike and almost threw her helmet onto her sit. She kicked up the dirt and began to look around. "God Damn it..where the hell is this thing suppost to be." Se asked herself. Placing her hands on er hips she leaned to the right side and craked her neck and rolled her shoulders.
Wrench ducked, slipping out of the binoculars straps and headed towards the pretty cute mouse. Tredging over the rubble and along what once could be considered a road, not upheaved and a crater filled.
"Hello.." The young teenage rat called tot he mouse.
Tamara heard something behind her as she whipped around pulling out one of her guns and pointed it at the Rat. She said nothing as she waited for a response for the Rat. "Who are you?" She asked. She dident even hesitat or began to shake. Its like she did this all her life. Her eyes narrowed as she looked up and down the rat.
Wrench slowly put up his paws. "I'm uhhh Wrench." he tried to grin. "I... guess you're not here by accident?"
He really wished Stone was with them enstead of breaking off to hit the Canyon first.
"Wrench is it? Well then Wrench..why are you here?" SHe asked still pointing the gun at him. She did not look to happy. Tamara glanced around. "Is anyone else with you?" She asked backing up towards her bike.
"Hey," Nega said as she followed up after Wrench then paused at seeing the gun. She fought her instincts to grab hers. Had he done that bad already? "Sorry about my trainee. You don't have to shoot him. He just thought you were cute, that's all."
Tamara looked at the girl and looked her up and down. "What are you both doing hree? this is a dead city?" She asked beganing to lower her gun slightly.
"I just wanted to say hi.." Wrench muttered weakly. "Uhm.. and yeah" He blushed at Nega's bluntness.
"We' missed the action.. we're just hanging around." he tried to charm her to lower the gun. "You can.. have cupcakes with us"
Tamara looked at Wrench. "You have to be joking." She said about the cupcakes. She then retracked her gun and placed it back on her leg. She looked around and smirkd. "Tell me why you rats are really here...I dident think anyone would come here." She said.
Nega laughed, she couldn't help it.
"Cupcakes?" she asked then shook her head. "Look, the name is Nega, and this is Wrench. This place was just hit by the fish, bit of a battle, but the Freedom Fighters drove them off. You look like your pretty new here. If you want, there's an inn you can rest at, get some food?"
Wrench swallowed. "The Inn has cupcakes. You don't have to eat with us.. me.. if you don't want to." He grinned still keeping his paws in the air.
Tamara looked at Nega. "Thanks...I was just sent here for personal reasons." She said as she stood up stright and looked at them then looked at the other rat. She bagan to walk over to them. "Sorry i pointed the gun at you guys...sometimes it happens," She said
Nega smirked and indicated to her own.
"Trust me, I more than understand. With everything going on, it's dumb not to be careful," she replied. "The inn has a place to put your bike to." She looked at it for a second. "It an AI?"
"Can I put my paws down now?" Wrench asked quietly.
"Ya.." She said looking at Wrench. "Can you take it? Be carful with my ninja." SHe said tossing the keys at him. "I suggest you just push it instead of ride it." She said walking with Nega.
Wrench caught the keys staring at her in awe. "Ahhh okay.. I have to walk it." He smiled at her. "Nega hasn't taught me to ride a bike just yet." Walking over to the bike he put the key in and popped it into neuteral. He grunted with the effort of steering it over the rubbled roadway.
"Trust me that thing is special...someone gave it to me..i take pride in it so make sure it dosent get scratched. "She gave a smal smile before looking at Nega. "Where did we leave off?" She asked forgeting what Nega asked her.
"Just curios if you wanted to get something to eat," she replied with a small smile of her own. "I don't think I got your name though. I'll be honest, for whatever reasons your here, they might have to be put on hold. I mean, look around. Of course, if you need directions, I can help. No charge either."
"Oh..haha no i dont need directions..but thank you...and its Tamara." She said walking with her. "So it must be pretty quite here for you guys...are you waiting for someone?' SHe asked as it looked like she was walking down a runway like a model.
"I wont get her scratch." Wrench promised guiding the bike towards the in, sliding sometimes with the loose gravel.
Nega shook her head.
"No, just resting before we take off again," she answered. "We live around this area."
She opened the door to the inn and slipped inside.
"You drink?" she asked the mouse. "This place's red wine isn't half-bad."
"I only drink once in a while." She said as she looked at them. "Oh where are you guys heading?" She asked seeing if they were going to the same area she was. It was weird that they where in this dead town where everone abandoned.
The Ninja came in with a cloud of smoke trailing behind it. On the sexy sleak ninja was a busty Mouse named Tamara. She had tight blue jeans on with the white flashy top on. Her laced up high heeled boots hit the red brown ground as she removed her full helmet to reveal her light bundled up white hair.
Tamara looked around the dystroyed city as she grabbed her water bottle and took a gulp of the cold liquid. She knew she needed a little rest.
Birds are entangled by there feet, Men by there tounges.
