When Vince met Ralphalex.

It is two years since the end of the war with the catatonians, four brave and heroic mice have fought their last battle, they are now delving into pastures new, parenthood. Vinnie and Charley were now the proud parents of a six month old white ball of fluff, a boy appropriately named Vince, he truly was the apple of his father's eye, and you just know that once in his teens, he was going to be a handful, just like his old man.
Modo and Tribune were also again in the family way, with a sixteen month old grey furred daughter who they had named Ralphalex, her father absolutely adored her, even at this young age she was taking after her father, Modo knew that once she reached the heady heights of teenager, she would be out there breaking hearts.

Time moves on, eighteen and a half years have now passed, and as foretold, Vince was growing up just like Vinnie, poor kid, and Ralphalex was indeed breaking all the boys hearts, including that of one certain nineteen year old, white furred male mouse.
Then suddenly it happened, Vince had a secret crush on Ralphalex for three years now, every time he was doing something crazy with his dad, he would end up next to her and he would have to catch his breath. On one particular day though, Vince was again involved in some horseplay, though on this occasion it wasn't with his father.
Vince had been sat on the sofa watching the TV, when Ralphalex entered the room and grabbed the remote control from his hands, Vince quickly went to retaliate and tried to take the remote back from her, they ended up in a light hearted tousle, nothing strange there, as they always got into these tousles, which usually ended up with Ralphalex pinning Vince to the floor, and Vince then submitting allowing Ralphalex to keep the remote. This time, however, Vince had the upper hand and he managed to pin Ralphalex to the floor.
Ralphalex looked up at Vince with a look of shock on her face, How can this be? I always pin Vince, that's just how it always is, she thought. Ralphalex tried to come up with a plan to rid herself of the testosterone filled white furred mouse, suddenly, a thought came to her mind and she acted on it, she raised her head slightly and licked Vince on his right cheek. Yeah, that did the trick, Vince flew backwards and landed on his butt, deep shock clearly on his face.
After a few awkward moments, Ralphalex realised that she had maybe gone too far, and was now afraid that Vince would go and tell her father about what had just happened, she shakily got to her feet and slowly walked over to where Vince was still sat. “I'm sorry Vince, I-I....I didn't mean to do that, please don't tell ma father†Ralphalex pleaded. Ralphalex now offered a hand to help Vince back onto his feet, Vince now ceased his opportunity and pulled Ralphalex down on top of him, he then gently licked her cheek and replied, “Only if ya don't tell my dadâ€ÂÂ.
Suddenly, the sound of Rimfire about to enter the room, brought them both back to their feet, unfortunately though, Rimfire had been just too quick for them and had seen the remnants of their compromising situation. Rimfire looked at both of them with a huge beaming smile on his muzzle and then spoke, “Well at long last, I finally caught you both in the act. It's about time that you two started to get it on, and Vince, you can stop blushing now, dark red on pure white, is not a cool lookâ€ÂÂ. Vince now turned his face towards the floor and shuffled his right foot as a five year old child would do if they had just embarrased themselves, he then spoke, How long have you known Uncle Rimfire?â€ÂÂ, Rimfire looked at Vince again with a beaming smile and replied, “Oh only since you were sixteenâ€ÂÂ.
Vince's head now shot up at this revelation, “YOU WHAT!, why on earth didn't you say something?â€ÂÂ, Rimfire replied, “I knew that sooner or later, you would get sloppy, it was just a matter of timeâ€ÂÂ. Both Ralphalex and Vince looked at their Uncle, it was now Ralphalex that spoke up, “We are so screwed!â€ÂÂ, Rimfire assured the two 'love birds' that he would not say a word, however, both Ralphalex and Vince knew that the only way to be sure, would be to tell their respective parents themselves.
Upon hearing the news from Vince, Vinnie gulped, “Awww man, Modo is gonna be gunning for me nowâ€ÂÂ, indeed he was, no sooner had Vinnie finished his musings, than the 'big guy' found him, though to Vinnie's surprise, Modo wasn't actually gunning for him at all, he actually seemed to be over the moon, with the way things had panned out.
Well, I guess that means that there are two more mice that are officially off the market, and yes, they are still very much in love!
