[First, let me appologize if this is already a topic - I looked through the Mess Hall... anyway, if it is already being discussed, please point me in the right direction!]

Okay, so I'm a gamer and a BMfM fan & so, naturally, I was ecstatic to hear that in October (6th or 15th are the two dates) 2006 there will be a videogame! However, I haven't been able to find ANY information on the game, except for one site that said it would come out 2/17/07 & the genre was Action.
Anyway, all I know is that Game Factory is the Publisher, it's Biker Mice from Mars & it's for the PC, PSP, PS2 and N: DS.
Can anyone enlighten me or give me a helpful link?
On another note, anyone here play/played the '94 BMfM videogame? It was a racing game for the NES. LOL, I STILL play that thing! It's REALLY fun, although I'm fairly easy to please ^~^. I'm a little scared at the thought of having an "action" game rather than a racing game... I mean, I love Shooters & RPGs just as much but... I guess I'm hoping for a remake of the old one ^~^;
I guess it also depends on what they're going to do with the series....
Thanks!

Oh, okay. You're prob. right (would explain why I'm not finding anything).
Thanks a bunch! I'll just wait a while :P
~*Yuffie
I really wonder what game they would develope for it and how, but for now we can only speculate. But since that's not very productive, we can better wait and see.
Oh, and sidenote; The Biker Mice from Mars was a SNES (Super Nintendo) game, not NES :)
Please tell me it has more action than just riding round town. i'd like to see a plot line, able to use the individual characters more.
Anything would be an improvement on a "racing game"...apologies to thos who love racing games!
Red :)
I played the racing game a little --I'm not very good with racing games-- just the practice, and on the city track, which was fairly oval (or squarish, but you get the idea...) I always used Throttle --seems to me, his bike was the easist to handle.
My cousin played it a lot though. He was very good, too. I think he played as Modo (he likes the powerful characters.)
I still have the game, but no longer play it, because the gaming system I now have hooked up is the PS2. I'd like to set up a gaming center, someday, and have a monitor for each of my game systems. To date, I have the orginal NES (the updated version they had around the time of the SNES), the SNES, the N64, and the PS2.
Here's something I found that hasn't been mentioned yet: Anyone here remember the Tiger's handheld electronic Biker Mice from Mars game?
The casing was dark blue, with red corners, and had black, triangle-shaped buttons on red circles. On the left was the Left and Right buttons, while on the right was the Jump and Fire buttons. On the left side was a pic of Greasepit (on his bike, and reaching for the player), Karbunkle (in the background, behind Limburger), and Limburger (his arms raised, and waving angerly). In the center-top, was the Biker Mice logo. On the right was the guys, on their bikes. (Vinnie's at the top, flare in his right hand, looking ready to party. Modo's leaning back on his hands, just causal. Throttle is on the bottom --and thus, in the foreground-- his right hand on the handlebar, and his left raised into a fist. This same pic is somewhere, on the Unoffical Biker Mice site, I think.
The scene on the screen, itself, is of the city (background), and a road. The horzion-line is curved, as if you were looking at the surface of a planet from view from space.
Anyway, the object of the game was for you --as either Throttle, Modo, or Vinnie (you could choose which rider you wanted to be)-- to ride through the city, picking up extra ammo, shooting at Greasepit (and I think, other goons), and rescuing Charley. It's been awhile, but I think at the end, you have to fight Limburger, himself, and rescue Charley one more time.
Fun, little travel game.
Oops! SNES, thanks ^~^ (I'll blame it as a typo :P )
I can see how racing games can be boring for some. I'm not usually a racing fan myself (I prefer shooter/stealth & RPG). But, for some reason Biker Mice never got old. I used (& still do) to play with my sister & we'd distribute the CPU racers & try to "kill" them before the final lap. The final lap was a free-for-all. So, I guess we didn't do much RACING in the game LOL.
I dunno, I guess I only want it to be a racing game simply because I have a lot of fond memories playing the original game. BUT, it would probably be more popular as an action game ^.^ Unfortunately, all that comes to mind are the old TMNT games... they weren't that good IMO. =)
I'm sure there are a lot of stories they could come up with for a good game though... right? ^~^
Wow, I never heard of the Tiger handheld game. I'm not too surprised though, I only now realized my old "Lion King" handheld is by Tiger, so I probably wasn't looking for it =). [I can't believe I still have that thing, it sucked!] What a cool collector's item you have though! I mean, I've never seen it on Ebay either ^~^ LOL, so if you had to, which Biker mice game do you prefer?

Yea I still play the SNES game, I would like to see a racing and a action game of Biker Mice From mars
The games are for PS2 & NDS and are at an advanced stage of production under the supervision of Octagon in North Carolina, USA. The PS2 is being done at Creat sudios in the US and the NDS at FullFat in the UK.
Action is the best description, but with plenty of racing.
Release dates will probably be timed to coincide with the broadcast scheduling of the series by territory. The launch is likely to be fall this year in The British Isles, Australia , South Africa and probably some, if not all, of the Nordic countries.
The rest of Europe is almost certainly 2007 - for tactical commercial reasons beyond the influence of the producers. North America is in discussion and a decision on setting a date is not expected before October of this year.
2007 is also likely to see a game for Giochi Preziosi's DigiBlast platform.
Inside information!
*points a gun* Hands up! Who are you, and how do you know all this?
I feel sorry for our European fans though. A whole year to wait!
Red. :)
Not necesary Red, you can always import the games from abroad :)
It's a pity to hear that a lot of europe has to wait for it and I wonder what kind of tactical reasons since Q4 of every year is the best time for shops (e.g. the dutch 'Sinterklaas', Christmas)
But reading as it is... also the series wouldnt arrive (if at all) before begin 2007 in the rest of Europe... darn.

I'd be very surprised, Red, in case you don't have an idea who Criterion is ;)
Europe has nearly always been like that we're the last ones in the row to get new things. For example, back in the 90's when old good NES was popular, basically all interesting games were never released in Europe or were tweaked to be more "friendly" for us. One example is Contra - The Alien Wars. It originally included two humans, but was re-designed for Europe so that the humans were robots instead and the game was renamed "Probotector". World of Warcraft is another good example. First it was released in USA, then Asia got theirs and finally - Europe.
The point is simple: by this time, we Europeans are somewhat used to this so having to wait another year is not a very big problem. At least not for me.
No idea. Who's Criterion?
Red :)

Criterion is one of the most honorable members on this board :)
Never heard of him, sorry.
Red.
http://www.criterionlicensing.com/ (which is btw very poorly designed for nonIE browsers)
But before they did anything with the Biker Mice I had never heard of them before either :)
0.o Sorry, blonde moment - is the Criterion who posted a rep. from Criterion Liscensing? Well, whoever you are- Thanks, Criterion! & thanks for the link, Vinnie!
Action with plenty of Racing - sounds like a good mix to me! ^~^
Hmm... I guess since I'm an American, I can't take the wait! (either that or I'm just impatient ) it's kinda odd (for me) to think that something isn't coming to America first LOL.
Actually, what really gets me is no release date (for US -.-; ). I wouldn't mind waiting if I had a circle in my calander ^~^.
But that's true, I could import (at least) the game! It would play in the US system, right? [too bad I'm a brunette, I've only my stupidity to blame LOL] I know Japanese games won't always play in the US PS2 etc, but I'm SO not high-tech, so I dunno why ^~^.

When will we get screenshots available and also will there be Nintendo DS Wifi compatibilty or anything like that multiplayer Multi Cart or single cart Criterion?
How could they do that to my beautiful Throttle.
He is suppose to be the handsome one of the bunch and he looks like a deranged Fivel.
I know things have to change with the taste of the masses but they have totally ruined all of them.
One thing I do have to give them credit for is Charley is very pretty.
Of course that my humble opinion.
Morning
yeah Charlie is Pretty... but the boys.. are a little... mmmm diferents?
O.o I don´t know... I hope Vinnie it´s ok
When will screenshots of the games be available? Will it comeout on the PSP?

P.S: My english Is not verry good

The only "official" information about the upcoming PS2 game is that "there will be a PS2 game". As far as what I know, no further information regarding this has been released, but I could also be wrong since I really haven't bothered to do any research about the upcoming game.
I'm looking for some alien toilet to park my bricks. Who's first?
