General Info
Location: Harley's Bar
Format: Freeform.
Common sense and fair play: While nobody likes not being in control, in focus, whatever, if something happens that you don't like, think seriously about what your character could and would do in certain situations and react accordingly. Attempting to kill another person's character is your prerogative, just don't assume you'll succeed (unless the kill is something you and other player/s have agreed on prior)or that anyone will want to play with you after :)
Character sheets: Copy the existing format and add to it if you so desire (any additions I really like might even get amalgamated into the base form ;). Only do one if you are going to participate in the game.
Rating: MA15+. You don't need to be over 15 to play, it's more the mindset I'm after. Roleplaying/describing excessively violent/adult scenes isn't allowed but leading up and leaving off or suggesting they happened is fine.
Characters
Canons: No one plays them, no one has any personal relations, history, contact, anything with them. Stories, conjecture etc are fine, they are heroes and whatnot :)
Numbers: If you only have the one, it can be as well developed or as underdeveloped and developing as you like. Any additional characters have to be reasonably well developed and well characterised.
Gameplay
Interaction: Type what your characters are doing. Try to refrain from unrealistically packing too much into one post and allow for a response :) You may not control someone else's characters, although there may be cases where you can move them (knocking someone out of the way, at gunpoint, etc). Everyone starts off strangers unless all players involved have made prior arrangements for their characters to know each other off the bat.
Combat: if you're up against another player's character, check their sheets out and match up accordingly. Generally 1-2 moves per post unless you're busy running away or have some kind of wonderful special ability. Keep it reasonable, keep it fair (granted not all match ups are "fair", I'm talking in terms of what's likely to happen given a match up :)
Balance: very very important in all characters. No one is good at everything.
Joining: Write character sheet. Jump in where you see an opening in the existing threads or start your own.
