Curator: Midnight
Lorekeepers: Ralphalex | Defender Kaotena
Content: Biker Mice themed (obviously). Non-Biker Mice fan characters most welcome.
Mature content: Tagging something MA15+ will make it visible only to logged in users (sometime when I have time, I will make it opt-in). If you want to make and see R18+ stuff, shoot a message to Vinnie, Whipblade or myself (Torama). We do check your age and mind how you act, if you're of a mind to lie about your age to gain access.
What contitutes mature content? Anything involving "adult themes", violence, drug use, profanity, etc. You're all smart people. If in doubt, tag it mature and direct questions to the Curator :)
Categorisation: Not hard. You can put things in multiple galleries, so for example if you do a nice pic involving Modo vs Cataclysm (fighting, racing, playing chess, whatever), then you can tag Modo and Cataclysm to have it show up in both the Modo and Cataclysm galleries. Ditto with fics and their related themes.
Ripping/fic/art theft: To say we don't look favourably on this is putting it very mildly. If you're found to have ripped someone's art or your fics and/or fan characters are suspiciously similar you want to have a convincing explanation. Yelling and screaming about everyone picking on you and someone you know is a lawyer is not a convincing explanation and makes us less likely to believe you. Unfortunately there's not a lot we can do about people from other sites ripping off things from here aside from a name and shame.
Posting gift art/commissions: Sometimes you ask someone to draw something for you, or sometimes someone does something for you just because they like you, and you understandable want to show off the wonderful gift you have been given (because they don't have an account here, say, and you can't seem to convince them to get one ;). We allow this, but on the proviso that you credit and where possible link the artist who did the work for you on the piece that you post.
Curators and Lorekeepers have the power to move and delete all artwork and fics respectively. You as the end user won't notice any "moves" as such (all that happens with a move is the tags change) but you may notice something getting deleted. It's a rare and extreme situation that warrants deletion (most of the time it will be if a piece is a theft, and none of you are thieves right? :) and correspondence will be entered into before that happens.
