When you post your fics, please use the Add Attachment function. You will find it under the headline "Add an attachment". Write a brief description and use the function to upload the document file instead of pasting all of its content in a post and therefore create one that will become several pages long. We don't use the old "copy and paste the story/fic in one huge post and submit it" method anymore. Stories/fics that are just copied and pasted into posts and not uploaded as intended are subject for deletion without further notice.

This is a function principally added to the board to make it easier and more comfortable with downloading and saving fics as well as helping to keep the board clean.

It might take a try or two before you get it right, but the function is very simple to use and everyone should learn how to use it fairly fast. It's all about reading, writing some text and clicking on a couple of buttons. Here is a simple howto: http://redplanet.sytes.net/album_pic.php?pic_id=66

:!: To make it a pleasure to find and enjoy fics/stories, it should be common sense for everyone to upload files that are clean and easy to read. It is not polite against those who wants to read your fics/stories to have to download something that looks rubbish.
